UpKeep is designed with your privacy as a core principle. We believe your home maintenance data should belong to you and only you.
All data you enter in UpKeep, including properties, tasks, maintenance records, and completion history, is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers.
UpKeep works entirely offline. No account creation, email address, or sign-in is required to use the app. Your identity remains completely private.
We do not use any analytics services, advertising SDKs, crash reporting tools, or tracking mechanisms of any kind. We have no way to see how you use the app or what data you enter.
UpKeep uses local notifications to remind you of upcoming and overdue maintenance tasks. These notifications are generated and scheduled entirely on your device. No notification data is ever sent to us or any third party.
Since we don't collect any data, we have nothing to share. Your maintenance records, property information, and task history never leave your device.
You have complete control over your data. Deleting the app removes all associated data from your device. There are no backups on our servers because we don't have servers storing your data.
